well i just bought my first bike, 97 yzf600r, in excellent condition and i'm looking for people to ride with, searching boston biker for a group of sport riders, i've stumbled to here. So can you guys fill me in on rides and meeting places and other such things. I'm currently living in boston at northeastern and my bikes either kept on campus or home in abington, either way i'm in the boston area. so waddaya think, can u take another guy on?

Cool, another 600R, and a first gen to boot. Keep your eyes out all over the forum, there's all sorts of rides going on any day of the week. A few of us meet at Motorcycle Night in Lowell (www.motorcyclenight.com), but there's not much riding going on there. There are usually a couple threads in the Moto Night forum.

Ah, I jumped the gun. There are two generations, 97-05 is the same, and pre-97 is a little different.

awesome, for those that know northeastern i'm living in west A until september then relocating to mission hill. but yet, the bikes in the shop getting tuned up right now and i'll have it for this weekend. Its actually that same model in the second picture. and i'm loving it so far.
