Just signed up on the site. Currently ride an 05 CBR1000RR. I have taken this bike apart down to the last nut and bolt at least twice so if anyone ever needs a hand sorting their RR out give me a shout.

I live in Oxford, MA and ride through upper CT quite a bit. Been riding for 5 years on the street and forever in the dirt.

Upgraded motor, wire harness and ECU to an 06. I had KWS bore the motor 2mm over, Carillo Rods, radious valve job, and web cams. The suspension is upgraded to Ohlins in the rear and Boston Computrack did the front springs and valves. Any bolts that were not touched in all of that were touched in some of the few other little things I did to the bike. Did I mention I am a bit obessive in my pursuit of performance?

You can't (I can't) ride this bike at NHIS...........less I stay in first and second gear. I have a Duc for the track, this is just a toy for the streets.

I know what you mean, dude. I just bought a new office chair yesterday, and as soon as I got the thing home it was in pieces on the floor. Greased the swivel mechanism with high-temp waterproof marine grease, replaced all the hardware with stainless, and tapped out the mount points on the armrests 2mm for increased load capacity. It's pretty sweet!
