    New VFR/VTR rider

    Hello everyone,

I'm being transfered to Boston (from Ohio) for my job and came across this site. I'm looking forward to meeting many of you and hopefully going on alot of rides with you all (I need some people to show me some great roads for day trips! )

About me: I have a '02 VFR that I've put over 20k miles on, which is my normal street bike. I also have a modded '98 VTR1000 Superhawk that is my canyon-carver and track day bike. I've ridden quite a few track days and look forward to doing a few this summer at Louden after I move.

I'm an active member of a few other MC forums (in case any of you recognize me): Sport-Touring.net, TwoWheelTouring.net, and VFRdiscussion.com

Here's a couple pictures of my bikes:

Welcome aboard the Site. Hold on it's a fun/Crazy ride with minimal Drama!! Great people and lots of good rides!

Get out on Tony's Track day as soon as you can! Check the link in the Track Days Forum!

See you on a ride sometime!

Man If they would only change the front end of those VFR's I would consider buying one. Untill then... ? Other than thats Nice Ponies you have in your stable!

Thanks for the welcomes, guys. I've already been checking out Tony's Track days, etc. I've been eyeing the one on the 21st of July but I'm not sure if I'll be moved in by then.

I think there's one in August that I might be all over!

Looking forward to riding with you guys,
    Troy

Thanks for the compliment. I've been very happy with the Viffer as a street bike.

I'm currently living in Dayton, OH. I'm a military guy, so I've lived throughout the world.

    I kinda figured...

I'm originally from Ohio... I moved up here about 5 years ago.

Grew up in the Northeast part of the state and then I lived in the Columbus area for 12 years.

I grew up near Toledo, OH. Then I moved away for college and the Air Force has sent me around the world. Now in Dayton but moving to Burlington real soon. I'm looking forward to it. I'm hoping the winters aren't as bad as the rumors I hear.

Swing my your old town and bring me some Tony Packos when you move

Winters here aren't too bad... it all depends on the year though.

More snow than central Ohio that's for sure... so get a good snow blower.

Yeah, Toledo is pretty much a $hit-hole. I haven't been there in a while but I'm sure it's just getting worse.

I am looking forward to B-town. Also looking forward to some fun rides in the twisties.
