My 2018 Infiniti Q50 Red Sport lease is ending and I am not sure of what to get now. Do I go with 2021 Q50 RS again? The HD dual screen is nicer then the older, but not much else had changed. Plus I can get the car for about 9k off sticker.
I am not a fan of Tesla cars as I do enjoy long road trips and having the navigate by the fast Tesla chargers is not my thing. Not to mention the model 3 is on ugly POS as well as the poorly built fit of panels and finishing in most Tesla's.
Back to my question...
The other thing that is interesting is that if I lease again the money factor is nearly 5x higher then it was back in 2018 (at least with Infiniti IFS and the banks they are going with now).
I don't want to debate about the pros/cons of Lease vs Finance.
ditch it. I don't miss dealing with them daily.
other than the crazy deals to be had Infinti's lineup is hot garbage, would be be getting a similar one for the same or less monthly payment. I mean i like leasing as you get to drive different stuff, anything else tickle you pickle these days that you'd like to live with for the next 36 months
Other stuff in that class i'd consider, S5, stinger GTS, Genesis G70 or 80, apparently the new TLX drives well, there is a refreshed is350, but is down on power from your red sport. new 340m bmw,

Yeah, I'm not overly impressed with my wife's Infiniti QX70. She's regretted it in some way or another since she bought it new in 2016. At this point, I'd say it's safe to say she won't be a returning customer. In fact, she's shopping around and they haven't even entered the conversation.
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
Thanks, I may look at the G70 and S5. I do like Audi.. Not sure if I am sold on a glorified Hyundai.
Even if an Infiniti is a glorified Nissan![]()
What are you looking for? Something sporty? Something Utility? Just another sedan?
Hard to give advice when we don't know where your priorities lie and the market is huge. You want acceleration? Features like auto cruise control? Luxury? Payment?

Pretty sure he meant genesis is a “glorified hyundai”
Your park avenue leads to..
Leasing in that category with no intention of buying at the end of the lease the Audi S5 would be near the top of my list.
What's the difference between a bolt and a screw?
First you screw, then you bolt.
That is the problem.. I do love the sporty luxury type of car. The Q50 RS is a okay car, and quick.. Sucks on MPG, but that is what you expect under 20mpg.
I was talking about Genesis being the gloried Hyundai. Thanks Gixxer... I am going to give it a whirl, looks like the closest dealer is in Arlington.
I wonder what kind of discounts would I get.
The fully loaded S5 is nice. Anyone own a newer model that can comment?

Why would you only pick the S5 if you want to return it? Value drops like a rock?

Depending on your buyout price (and other lease termination fees) I'd recommend hitting up Carmax & Carvana before you turn it in, with the current climate of the used car market I wouldn't be surprised if you could make a few $$$ selling it to either of those 2 places. I've made out pretty well with a few of my leases doing that.
One of the big benefits of lease, at least from my perspective, is the ability to try something different frequently. So unless you're in love with the Infiniti, which it doesn't sound like you are, I'd be switching brands simply based on that.
I'd add to the list of already mentioned options, particularly if you lean more to the "driving" side of the equation VS all out luxury, the BMW M240i or if you have the budget the M2.
Or you could always go for the old default NESR answer, BUSA
Don't forget to update with whatever you decide on, good luck![]()
Yup. I mentioned in another post that performance wise, the thing is a rock star. But that's where it ends. The interior is Nissan through & through and looks much like my short lived mid-2000-teens Murano from the cockpit. My Silverado gets better gas mileage and sips regular unleaded instead of the super hers takes, and has much more bells & whistles that actually serves purpose.
