    some dirtbag..

Stole all 4 wheels off of my honda fit in the middle of the night. A new set of wheels and tires will cost more than $2000. Thanks Providence...

    That sucks...

Tirerack.com, or tires.com. Should be able to pick up a set of rims and tires for a lot less then you would from Honda.

Go for some nice light 15" Rota wheels. You should be able to get a set of those with tires for under $1k, no problem.

    Re: some dirtbag..

Insurance better cover it. If not I am wasting a ton of $$. I imagine insurance will want me to put the stock wheels back on. Luckily I had a set of snow tires on steel rims in my garage in Medford. I had a friend bring them down and I am back on the road.

It is just a huge pain in the ass. I just have to wait and see what the insurance company says.

I'd THINK they'd just cut you a check for OEM rims at dealer prices. If they do......

    Re: some dirtbag..

Apparently they only have to pay for new oem if the car has less than 750 miles on it. It has 20,000+ so they will write me a check for like kind or quality. I think they expect you to find junkyard wheels if you want the stockers.

Sucks about the wheels dude, get some wheel locking lug nuts with the new ones, cheap ( about $20) and you can rest that it will at least be a PITA to steal again.

Dogshit... Unless the thief is fulfilling an order he's gotta fence it somewhere, right? Seems like so many clowns take shit straight to CraigsList. Everyone keep an eye out for these wheels and/or tires and lets see if we can get em back. (racks 12-ga)
