    Food-safe lubricant?

Here's a random question. I need a tiny bit of grease for a small solenoid valve in our Gaggia Classic - any ideas on household stuff I could use? I literally just need the tiniest dab and don't feel like ordering some special grease for this tiny project. I've gone too long without expresso and I think I've narrowed the problem down to this 3-way valve and just cleaned it up...

Apparently I totally forgot about Vaseline... I guess that might work in a pinch.

Plumber's grease - AKA silicone grease.

I can think of many types of oil. Since its espresso, I'd go olive.

Coconut oil. It's treated so it doesn't go rancid and then sold as gun lube.

Couldn't decide so I mixed a little of all the above. It's alliive!

(ok I just used an ultra small amount of petroleum on the o-rings, I don't think the rest of the valve really needed any grease as I kept reading..)
