gotta sign up for one trial thing (like netflix, a bunch of other stuff), and refer 5 people. Honestly, a kid off my subaru msg. board just got his in the mail the other day, so this is for real.

If you want a free 20gig ipod (worth like $250, hell just get it and sell it on ebay for free money)

follow this link to the place (or else I get nothing

no you can sign up for cheap stuff too (like a free email account, or ebay account, stuff like that). i tried to do this and i couldn't get enough people to help, but a few folks i know, one of whom i was helping, did indeed get there ipods in the mail, like 3 months later.

Something just seems a bit fishy about it. Last time I went to the website I had to get a digital TV account and all this other jazz.

it's not a scam. It's been featured in WSJ, www.wired.com, and all over the place.

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

I beg to differ oh squidly one. Pehaps you might try using software not quite so crappy as itunes, (like anapod explorer).

indeed. google is your friend. anyway, several people I know use it rather than itunes. It't not free (maybe $20), but it's aparently a very well written and super functional program, even incorporating some basic database functionality (I dunno exactly what, maybe you can pick songs thru SQL or something like that) but it's worth checking out if you don't like itunes.
