What Randy said. You definitely don’t want excess moisture around your bush.

check around your house and notice the grading along the house.... if any areas slope towards your foundation, then do something about that now before water decides to make you do something about it.

I pay particular attention to my bush and always keep my bush in tip top shape. I assure you, my bush is only as moist as it needs to be.

(But srsly, thanks Randy. House inspector noticed the same thing.)

I'll throw in my old as dirt saw and trimmer as HWGs. I've gone 40v and don't want to bother with small carbs ever again.

I took this man's advice and bought an Echo PB-580 the other night. Just did the dethatch and "rake" for the end of the season.
Wholey crap, where has this thing been all my life?!? Raking is for fools.. which I have been for the last decade. Genius!
Makes the plug-in electric blower I got as a door raffle once upon a time seem like the joke I've always kind of thought it was.
FU trees, do your worst. I'm ready this year.

Although I really cannot wait to use it to jump start a backyard campfire one night.

Is it too late to exchange it for the PB-770? That’s the one I bought about 5 years ago for $470 with absolutely no regrets.

They have a new PB-9010 that’s even more badass. I would be considering it more it wasn’t almost 2.5 lbs heavier.

Probably. I have almost a gallon of mix through it already!
This one does the deed @ >$100 less. Pretty sure this is good 'nuf for me.
I am sure the sky is the limit with this stuff. Can always go bigger, always.

I got my shop vac for free from a friend. Turns out a mouse had been living in there for a long time. Started it up in my living room and blew mouse stuff everywhere. Took years for that vacuum to smell normal even after cleaning it out really well and replacing all of the HEPA filters.

I have an older version of that same vacuum that's pushing 18 years old. It sucks...

I used mine yesterday to blow, evacuating any water from my plumbing before we tried sweating the joints

I use mine fairly often to blow the leaves and light dirt out of the garage. It can be a lot more convenient than firing up the big backpack blower.

Not a bad idea, if your just buying equipment for light homeowner use to keep things like rigid in mind from box stores. Lifetime warranty and terrible to have.

Ask your neighbors if the power goes out often and for how long. Just in case you need to buy a generator. And buy a snow shovel now, not the day before it snows like all the other douches.
