Agreed...I don't really care though. Doubt I will go over, even if I do I would probably get the same truck again, and you don't have to pay the penalty if you get a new one.

Every lease I have ever had I start getting calls at 2 years though

I can't ever see myself making a $450 a month payment forever. Nice truck though, I'd be going for the same one if I went fullsized. The GMC appeals to me more than the bowtie just on looks alone.

Just curious, they order many of the upper end trucks now with the 6.2. I know the new 5.3's are nothing like the anchors that are in my old truck. Congrats, she's pretty.

I got it from central gmc in Norwood, they had a few of this exact same truck left. They also had an elevation edition, not as nice on the inside, but one badass looking truck, all blacked out exhaust and built for off road

Double cab? That $50k sticker is seriously inflated. From what I've seen, nobody actually pays that.
Worth mentioning again : The stickers on domestic full-sizers is fantasy land. You shouldn't even have to ask to get ~25% off if buying from stock. If you find a salesman that even mentions the sticker price on these, turn around and run.

I'd blow through that 36k mileage allotment in about 18 months.

I agree about the 5.3. I like mine. All the power I need. But then I didn't buy it expecting it to be a rocket or anything. Just basic, comfortable transportation with a solid tow rating and space for dirt bikez'n shit in the back. And I'm pretty happy with the fuel economy it has returned.

Sticker price rant man can't understand why a desirable loaded vehicle has demand behind it.

I would hope so, at your age, you shouldn't even have a mortgage!

On a related note, my property taxes alone are more than $450 a month

Chevys are ugly. I think the GMCs are much better looking. Same platform but way nicer in my opinion

while Trump will provide good material for SNL,

I seriously doubt that Trump administration policies will cause the price of gasoline to double in 4 months time, 20%+ home mortgage rates and Americans diplomats to be held hostage in a foreign country for nearly a year and a half with the lead in story on every network being Day #
