Lol. Iím just hoping to have an electric bill less than $800 for September. We had 59 days over 110 this summer.

Re: Heat on for the season...

Was a nice ~85 in Miami yesterday, prolly be exactly the same today if not slightly warmer. We've had a couple cooler rainy days so I'm hoping the electric bill goes down, it's been about 150 every month. AC is set to 77 at night, 78 during the day.

    Man I hate being cold.

We turned on the AC less than a handful of days on those 88+ nights in OC/SoCal

there was only maybe 2-3 "hot" weeks or so that I was at work in AC all day, at the beach, or doing night street rides

otherwise it's 70's at night again (and a little chilly in the canyons in the 60's for my 136lb self )

you know what it means, when the days are cooling off?

At $1.40 per gallon for heating oil, I’m debating if I should even start the wood boiler this year. One if the great features of a 199 year old farmhouse this time of year is the massive stone chimney keeps the house warm at night without needing the heat on. It was 44 the other morning, still 71 in the house.
