    Help finding car body panel?

Friend of mine got in a fender bender and scratched up her new car. (2017 Toyota Corolla SE)

The damage is limited to just the one panel under the headlight in this photo. (The part is defined by the seam near the tire, and it extends to the Toyota logo in the front of the car)

I figured it would be an easy part to purchase, but I cannot seem to locate it. All searches bring up the whole front end, but the images look like they are possibly from an older model... where the front part is one piece and goes under the Toyota logo across to the other side.

    Any ideas?

Are you sure that is several pieces? They do a pretty good job making a big one piece look like two or three these days.

Pretty sure... I will see it again today and verify, but I cannot even find something that looks like the part. All the diagrams I am seeing on the car sites show a slightly different... again, with a piece that connects left and right)

I'm guessing it's gonna have to be that whole wrap around bumper looking thing...

That would suck if they made you buy both sides... but I am not actually seeing a diagram part showing the exact shape. I am hopeful that the parts that I am seeing are from a different year and 2017 parts just aren't showing up on the web?

Ahhh... that is the first image I've seen that shows the "notch" in the middle area. I see it now.

The images I was seeing were just smooth across the front - with no area for the logo.

Thank you... Sheppo... do you have the link where you can order that part? I tried to back out the address, but came to an error.

The car is too new for a salvage yard to have what you need. But it may be worth a shot, because if you get lucky, you can get an OEM part with OEM paint, instead of aftermarket.

Call Linder's in Worcester and see if they have any corollas in their salvage yard. I have dealt with them in the past and they even deliver the part to your shop for free.

    Linder's, Inc.

If you do have to go the eBay route, I would see if the seller by the name of "mbiauto" has the parts for this vehicle. They operate out of Detroit and specialize in selling paint matched body panels, namely bumper covers. I have bought two bumper covers from them for my Toyota after ripping them up on the trails, although my truck is a lot older.

Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market has a clunky UI but is very, very good at finding stuff.

Good info. Going to check on the ebay guy now. (EDIT: No luck on 2017 stuff )

She is also going to see what body shop would charge to repair hers (may not be worth it?). Do shops even repair plastic parts?

She is bringing to dealer tomorrow - mainly to verify that nothing is damaged behind the plastic (air bag sensors, proximity sensor, etc).

Just did my wife's 2014 Elantra Bumper cover and actually bought it on Amazon half of the car parts store. Had a bud at a dealer paint it ( came out perfect ) and I installed it in 1 1/2 hours. Super easy

I did have to switch over to chrome pieces and the rubber pieces just use a pair pliers and some silicone
