    Quickjack had/has a sale now .. but you can always call and "negotiate" a little better of a deal. If you would have paid $1000 for that snap-on lift.. you could probably get the 5000lb model close to that, definitely the smaller 3000? model. I wanted to put a 2 post up in my garage, but they didn't build the floor very well so I went with the quickjack. It's pretty damn awesome, and I leave it on the ground during the whole summer. In the winter it's packed up against the wall. It's heavy as @#$@ so if you're worried about it not being strong enough.. it is. Then you can also get different types of pads for different cars, but I use their blocks as well as a few hockey pucks and have lifted small cars, as well as my minivan and a few larger SUV's without breaking a sweat.
