    Limerock park

Was at Limerock yesterday watching the car races. Never been there before. SMALL track. 1.5 miles and about 50 seconds for the professionals to go around. Porsche dominated the main race. The pole position Porsche started lapping the slow guys within the first half hour.

I sat and watched from a few different vantage points. This one right over the chicane right before the main straight was cool. Canaan has a very similar chicane. Maybe even loosely similar to 10-11-12 at Loudon?

There were some very cool cars there.

Was also there. I have the season pass. You see the vette crash during the fan hot laps?? I was next in line before he crashed.

The west bend into the down hill is amazing in a car. So is the long up hill if they use it. Cars can achieve air going up it.

No I didn't see that Vette crash, but my buddy told me he saw it! Sucks for him, poor guy.

Interestingly, the morning races didn't use the Chicane, they went around it. Evening race used Chicane.

The gtlm and GTDaytona cars are too fast now. So to slow them down they use the chicane.

What's the difference between a bolt and a screw?
First you screw, then you bolt.

It was not Mr Leno lol. A few years ago this rolled in.

It's Jim glicknhaus p4/5-- based off of an enzo. He commissioned pininfarina to design it. Super nice guy, talked with him for awhile.

That's a very cool car. He led the first lap of a Lemons race at Monticello with it a few years ago. It was quite a sight and he was very gracious letting us all drool over it.

I got to see that car a while back a friends father did the transporting of it, in 2008 IIRC. It's absolutely amazing in person to say the least.

I just saw something about his SCG 300 becoming a production car.....

My good friend's little brother just purchased an AMG GT. I can't wait until if/when he moves back from the west coast!
