A friend's wife has an AMG GLS63. It is insanely quick for something that weighs as much as a Suburban.

She'd be better off with a FWD sedan and snow tires...

But keep an eye out for a nice used Panamera... I'm seriously thinking about moving in to one next year.

She originally liked the Panamara (sp?), but a bit out of reality. Although the used market on those seems pretty soft too...

The Panamara was what started her down the Porsche path, followed closely by the Cayenne. Both used markets seems fairly weak - newer used with low miles can certainly be found at attractive prices for sure. Then we started test driving and she fell in love with the Macan. Given the mileage she does, I'm doing everything I can to talk her into new. In which case the Macan falls neatly into her budget...

Well if she wants to spend an assload money; Come by an LX570 from my store. at least this thing will hold is value and actually do anything and go anywhere with out a costly trip to the dealer. Gas stations on the other hand.....

I guess it makes sense why she'd land on the Macan then if her first choice was the Panamera and her second is the Cayenne. Mixes the two together, but just not the best parts of either in my opinion.

Porsche seems to have a hit on their hands with the Macan: sales up 44% in the last year. All other Porsche models are down. Don't think I'd ever heard of the model nor ever seen one.

Soooo...I do NOT like Porsche dealerships. I may have finally met my match. Those fuckers have no interest in negotiating! LOL! Still haven't quite nailed down what WE think is an attractive enough price on the Macan S at either dealership we've visited. She's off today to go test drive Jaguar F-Pace's. Starting our search with the supercharged V6 models (Premium) and working up/down from there...

She's also recently gotten hot for the Infinity QX70...
