Mailing List Programs (snail mail)

Any one know FIRST HAND of a decent, easy to use mailing list program? I'm lookin' to generate a mailing list for work. I'd want a program that has multiple sorting formats (by ZIP code, by city/town, by profession, etc., etc...), and it'd hafta be easy enough for any old mug to use. I'd also prefer that it could be used on both a Mac and a PC platform...

Oh, and uh, I HATE Microsoft products. But if someone can prove to me that's the best out there, I'd listen...

Well Duh, I am in the bulk mailing industry Jay you dufus. All the software we use is mainframe stuff, but I might be able to get my hands on something for you. Let me ask around. Oh, and send me a few emails to remind me, you know how bad my memory is.
