Lightbulb Mt. Bike trials comp in Boston this weekend

Man this sounds like a lot of fun, I don't think I can go but maybe someone else is interested.

    ------------------------------------------------
What is the Red Bull Bike Battle?
Some of the best trials riders from the USA, Canada and Europe will compete
for cash by putting together the most outrageous series of trials stunts.
This is the first ever of this "freetrials" type of competition and it's
happening right in our backyard! Of course there will be media coverage so
these riders will go big to show off their sponsors!
Watch for 4 foot bunny hops, 7 foot gaps, and 10 foot drops and other stunts
that these best-of-the-best can pull out to impress the judges.

    When?
This Saturday, riders start practicing at 10:00 and continue to 12:00, the
competition starts at 1:00 and goes to 4:00. Some of our local trials
riders will be strutting their stuff so be sure to cheer for the local men
    and women!

    Where is it?
Boston City Hall Plaza - a great place for this type of event, and a fun
place to just hang, or bring your bike and do a cruise and check out the
city. Make a day of it, Boston is a great place to relax and take in the
    sites.

    Why?
    Because it's a blast!
And spectacular to see what these amazing athletes can do!
Peter Wilk and Kevin Brody, both local riders, have worked endless hours to
put together the "playground" for this event.
These amazing trials riders have built and created a course that has a 7
foot tall staircase made of telephone poles, huge spools that weeble wobble
when the riders get on top of them, cars, concrete barriers and quarter
pipes along with all the stairs, railings and walls that are part of the
    plaza.

Sound interesting? (I hope so!) then check out www.redbullbikebattle.com
for more details or email Peter Wilk with any questions. If you aren't from
the immediate area, or its been a while since you were last in the city, it
is a great excuse to get out and spend the day in Boston.
