So my gunt hurts on the trainer after 10ish or so miles. Adjusted the seat forward a few mm and that seemed to help a little. I don't have any more adjustment left forwards though. My only other thought is to try a shorter stem to allow my butt to take more of my weight on the seat?

Tilt? In the drops? On the hoods? What are you trying to do?

On the hoods. I don't use the drops on the trainer.

I'm trying to transition more weight from the front part of the seat to the rear to relieve some of the pressure so it won't be as uncomfortable.

There is really nothing worse than being grundled by your own bicycle. My seat was poorly adjusted when I got started and I rode almost exclusively on my grundle.

What sort of seat post do you have? Is it offset? Straight? If you have an offset post set back, you may be able to rotate it 180 degrees if it has enough tilt adjustment and get your seat significantly more forward and your sit bones on the meat of the saddle.

Try tilting it forward. I was getting really bad pinching up front and then the slightest tilt forward put more weight on the ass bones and less on me grunda.

    Straight post.

Ended up going to the LBS today and getting a test saddle. Will try that and see how it works.

Don't forget (10 or 20 pages back) that apparently used saddles are a real thing. You can save 50% or more purchasing used grundle sweat.

Werd thanks. Local place usually takes care of me pretty well but I'll take that into consideration. I kinda owe the owner for carrying my bike to the shop after I got a flat on the fat bike..Official non-motorized motorcycle thread.-screenshot_20181130-184556-jpg

    Re: Official non-motorized motorcycle thread.

I dealt with saddle issues last year training for the Cape ride. It's in this thread. I needed a wider saddle and to move it forward from the text book measurements of when I was fitted to it. I read a bunch of articles on it and tested a few things and that worked for me. It's such a bitch to get it "perfect". Good luck!

Also, get a gravel if you can't fit the tires on your bike. I love going out for road rides and seeing a trail and just taking it.

Fuji Cross Comp - bicycles - by owner - bike sale

What are we thinking here, kids? I've been looking at putting drop bars on my Jamis, but that adds up fairly quickly. Size should be close enough and the price is right.

I think it’s a pretty ok buy at 400. It doesn’t have disks or thru axles.
If that doesn’t bother you, see what you can do.

I just moved, and am still sitting on my cross bike, which I’d like to unload, but that’s too small for you.
Someday I’ll ride a bike again.

I was gonna say, buy chip’s orange bike, but I’m guessing you’re taller than that. If it fits and he’s throwing in the extra tires, I think that’s a decent deal.

Duncan is too tall for a 54, I think.
