    What chip said.

But to an extent, if you don't want to potentialy need to buy new stems, seats, and seat posts, etc to get the fit right, then one specific bike may fit best.

The Domane and is a great bike. You honestly will never need to upgrade that frame.

We had a blast. I had not explored the carriage roads any other time I'd been to Acadia. They are awesome. Not really challenging cycling in any way. But really fun pedaling. Highly recommended.

And the trailer was super fun. Kiddo had a great time.

I also found a cool fire-road not far from the cottage we rented which was a nice pedal. Would have been way fun on a motorbike.

I was sold on their diamond fork, but ever since I heard the cane creek helm was coming out in coil I've been drooling over that instead. Which Santa Cruz frame are you using it on?

I'm not on the coil makes everything better train. I think it's great for shocks on progressive linkage designs but I feel like you need the ramp up for forks.

I've got a new-to-me Hightower and I'd love to put a coil shock on there but I wussed out on the weight penalty. I've got a friend locally with a Hightower LT and I might try his Jade out for shits and grins though.

Edit/PS: I'm just arm chair engineering here and would love to test it out. DVO says they have a coil fork in the works too but they don't seem to get their products to market that fast which is probably a good thing. If I didn't have a pike with an avalanche cartridge I'd probably have already pulled the trigger on a Sapphire or Diamond.

Did you do a triathlon? Thought I saw something on Facebook.

    Also, bam!

Will be riding it first thing in AM and through the weekend. I did get clip-less pedals, but opted for the flat pedals for the first few rides to get used to the bike. Will be swapping out after 3-5 rides.

    Giggidy.

Sweet!! Clipless takes some getting used to for sure. Still vividly remember the panic as I stated tipping over at a stop sign. Frantically tugging erratically at my feet hoping they'd let go. Good stuff man! Let me know if you want to go for a jaunt after you get a couple rides in!

Poorly written post on my part. I meant I am going to be getting in shape for LRRS... but racing is racing? So, why not dip my toe at racing bicycles... but not any time soon.

I think the green one was last years model? This is this years model.

    That’s how it starts.
Then you’ll find yourself feeling guilty for not pedaling.

    Re: Official non-motorized motorcycle thread.

Uh... pedaling is fun. I donít remember when I forgot this fact. Unfortunately most of my rides have been in the evening in pitch black save my little lights. So Iíve been making multiple trips to landrys to pick up gear as I needed. Today was some arm and leg warmers.

Also, I switched to clipless today. What a hoot. And I didnít fall!

And I picked up a garmin today. Cause I like data.

I signed up for crosstobeerfest this morning. I guess there’s a wait list for the cat6, and I’ll probably ride the surly on the short track mtb.
I’ve also been riding my bmx bike again...I feel like I’m 15. I went and carved the pump track, ate shit on some dirt jumps, hop manualed a curb on pure instinct and that’s what did it for me.
As an adult, as soon as I crash proper, the days session is over.

The only thing I understood was you ate shit. But you made it sound fun!
