    Onewheel, who has one?

Been thinking of getting one, they look pretty sweet. Are they worth the price? They as good as people say?

Yes I have one and use it to get around the pits. Easy to ride and the Plus model is quick charging. The XR is longer range and probably would be what I would have gotten if it were out when I ordered. The feeling is much like riding a motorcycle. That bank and yaw of flight. I have used it on super low tide on the beach at Hampton to bike trails in the woods. It's a great vibe riding it.

Zip it! You wont be seeing me in the bike lane, don't worry. I want it for around my neighborhood, and my place in NH as well as some meets I go to.

Was looking at the XR. Don't see many used ones for sale so I am guessing the people that get them hold on to them because they are decent. And the people that are selling used want almost as much as a new one.

Picked up an XR, this thing rocks! Ended up finding a dealer the next town over. Takes a bit to get used to but not too bad, the one thing I am finding the hardest to get used to is dismounting.

Dismounting is a two part process. Coming to a complete stop - Lift up front heel. Sometimes trying to stop and lift up the heel is tricky as the input of lifting the heel can cause the board to tilt and start going off in that direction. I now start lifting my heel as I come to the stop and the heel is off the pad prior to a complete stop. I then focus on balancing stopped with the heel up and toes maintaining balance. The motor stops and I step off.

Am thinking about heading down to the Thuro skate shop in Brookline this afternoon to look at the XR.

Might be fun around the paddock (like Tommy uses his); plus, my scooter was stolen not long ago. Bunch of savages.

These are real popular with the boat surfing crowd. I guess it's a bit of practice??

I will say that it screwed up my snowboarding last year. I was expecting the instant carve of the OneWheel on the hard pack snowboarding. NOPE! Maybe in deep pow. Not on boiler plate hard pack.
