    Overlooked NFL MVP's...

Ya KNOW it won't go to a Patriots player. And it's probably safe to assume Payton's gonna get it. He's the poster boy for the NFL this season...

Now I'm not saying there's NOT a great crop of candidates lining up for it this year. But two people that should WITHOUT a doubt be in the running are Troy Brown and Richard Seymor (although I honestly think Troy Brown should win the damn trophy)...

Who presents a better case than Brown? Talk about a 'gamer'! This guy impacts EVERY aspect of the Pat's game: special teams, defense (tied for the team lead with THREE), offense. The guy is just involved in so fuggin' much!

So, who else? Who else impacts their TEAM the most?

I'd hafta give my vote to Brown as well. Not only is the guy physical as hell for someone his size, but he's a smart, smart football player who fills mutiple-roles. That and he's all heart!

maybe not MVP, but I think Bruschi is one of the most underrated players in the league.

The guys just makes plays, and usually in huge situations

The same can be said of Ted Johnson and Eugene Wilson. And don't forget about David Patten!

My vote goes to Rodney "I will try to Kill you" Harrison. He is the one the is making sure the Troy knows where he is suppose to be and is leading a very young and inexperienced secondary.

Did anyone watch MNF last night? Got to see ol' Antoine Smith in action again for the Titans. Wow, watching Dillon one day, then Smith the next really puts it in perspective how the Pat's offensive strategy has changed. But I must say Antoine can still deliver great blocks!

i always liked Smith. The problem was they never gave him the ball enough. Smith is the kinda guy who needs those 30 carries. He is a bull, you wear down the defense with him and eventually he rolls. Weiss would never give it to him enough, until the end of the season when it got colder.

He is no Dillon, but he was good enough

    Troy VOTE

Agreed argument that he can play both ways (O & D)
vs. Manning with a "record" beating Marino but
    STILL BEING THE KING OF:

Once and out of the playoffs in the first round.
