YES!
I didn't know you could get an outback with a V6.
'Sides.. is that thing a all SUV-ized like the outback? Maybe it is just the photos. The outback drives like a boat. It's gone full ute. I want a wagon. Something that is actually somewhat entertaining to drive. Something closer to a VW sportwagen. I thought this Buick was that. Maybe I have it all wrong?!
I wouldn't mind getting a bolt, but I still have about 80k left in my fiesta with no payments.

I guess technically it's an H6. And it looks like you can't get it anymore as they replaced it with a turbo 4.

Meh, we'll see about reliability down the road. I don't have any long term concerns. It seems pretty well built so far. It's a German car through and through other than powerplant. I wouldn't buy a GM or other "US" brand car (truck yes, but not car), and don't really consider this as one. I am actually pleased with how well coated/prepped it is for winter salt life too. Cant say the same for most subarus ive seen.
Hell, this thing started as getting hot and bothered over electric honda civics and EVs. I don't think we've brought it down hill at least. Haha.
Good man. How you guys been? One of these years we have to catch up and let the kids play together.

Haven't driven an outback in a long time, so hard to compare myself. I don't think it rolls too bad, but it is a big car. I took a run up to Burlington a couple weeks ago, and went across 25 the whole way. Hustled it pretty good with no traffic, and it was a blast. Many of the subarus have gone CVT, and I've got no interest in that either.
Anyone know what is the cheapest EV that is 100% designed to tow a trailer?
Nevermind. Just went on Chevy's site. Bare bones is $30k. I'll keep rocking a dead dino powered econobox for that price.

Rivian is the only EV I know with towing specs but they are still in the pre-order stages and are top dollar

Technically it’s an H6. EZ series was sold as a 3 liter from 2000-2009 and 3.6L from 2010 to 2019..
It’s a much different car that the H4 Outbacks, with 75-85 more hp on Regular and Indestructible JATCO 5EAT (5 speed electronically controlled auto). The H6 and XT models through 2014 had the VTD drive system, a true full-time AWD system with center planetary differential.
The model has now been dropped, replaced by the XT with direct-injected 2.4L FA with twin scroll turbo.

you dont buy an new ev. your going to take a BATH on it. use the rebate and govt grant money to reduce the lease number. these things are going to age like cell phones and i dont want to be stuck with one an older one in a few years with a ton of miles.
I was reading an article somewhere about how cheap vw E-golfs lease out west. (like less than $100 a month)
I want this EV truck. Probably going to cost a small fortune .

Here’s another EV truck option. Only $112,000.

11k towing available. Good chance it’s the same price range as hummer once trimmed up

my current car is a 2013 2.5 subaru legacy with oil consumption issues where i have to put 5 quarts of oil in over 7500 mile oil change intervals (1 quart each time the low oil light comes on)...which is why i started a thread to shop for a new car...fuck subaru...won't buy another and won't recommend one to anyone
I am 100% getting a PHEV for my next car. Either a Volt or i3. Also very tempted to get a Pacifica PHEV for the main family car, but the premium for those seems to be rather large at the moment.

And the range and mileage specs on the pacifica aren't even very impressive. We looked at it as well.
Yeah, look at the resale of those garbage Tesla’s.
Lol.
