Should be a interesting game tonight, Pats D can handle Groff, But the Rams D is better. And McVay wants this one I am sure!
Special teams will once again will be a Hugh factor and who gets the breaks... Good night for football...
and I don't think they make it out of the 1st round either. But Remember 2001...
They've played strong teams well this year. I'm hoping tonight will continue that trend and they end up with the win. If they don't win tonight, I think any hopes of the playoffs are lost. Especially if they don't get any love from other teams/games.

Stoneman, good point. I got it I football around 2010-11.
I love it as a sport and I used to be a huge soccer fan. I can’t even watch a soccer game any more because I find it boring.

I’d rather watch volleyball over hockey. Can’t stand it.

While they're boring by today's standards of passing alone making up for 400+ yards a game, I like to see this style occasionally.

But yeah, the Newton Experiment has run it's course, pun intended.

I'm going out on a limb and predicting that with the upset tonight, they're going to run the table from here on in and somehow squeak into the playoffs where they'll be eliminated in the Wild Card round.

Rams - this will be the upset that'll start their run to the final Wild Card spot
Dolphins - they'll pull this one off in Miami
Bills - they'll take this 2nd matchup from them. I can't remember losing to the Bill's twice in a season under Belichick.
Jets - need I say more?
Slightly off on the prediction. Bill is probably already looking for his next QB

I kind of figured that, which is why I pointed that out. I'd suggest hockey, but we already know how you feel about it.

This seems to be the case with a lot of the young players. Have a great game one week, back to being a scrub the next.

Yeah. I REALLY thought they'd bring the heat last night. Terrible game, terrible QB'ing, terrible line control, terrible play calling. So long for their playoff hopes at this point. Just as well though. A year without the stress of watching them make a playoff run I guess.

I think this is spot on! My son and others in my sphere are on the lose and rebuild train.
I agree whole heartedly with this thought process! although Cam is not in the Pats future!

Fixing our mistakes. I saw the game against the giants and I was like if Cam stays we won’t win more than 8 games.

Coach is getting serious and doesn't want to miss the playoffs again. I'm looking for big changes this year in performance and wins/losses. I can't wait to see the match-ups with the Bills.

As far as I know, he's still a thing. If I remember though, he's injured yet again.

Mac's looked good from what we've seen of him this pre-season. If I recall, he had a passer rating of almost 95. The last game, he threw for like, 55 attempts. He fits into the Patriots scheme well. From what I've read, his collegiate offense lends itself well to him learning the Patriots playbook. He looked sharp for the most part and had great feel for the pocket. He made some rookie mistakes, but it was to be expected. He seemed to bounce back though from those, and he seems like he REALLY learns from his mistakes & missteps. I feel good about him. Far better than I ever felt about Newton or Stidham. Then again, I think getting rid of Brissett was a huge mistake.

i have a good feeling as well...i just hope he can stay healthy...i saw him get up a little gimpy from one play and i was already worried...either way he seems like a class act that's not too flashy and will keep his head down and get to work...i like that

I'm so over it. We all knew somehow, some way the time would come. It's over now. He went to another team and won the Superbowl, and that's great.

Now let's get back to Patriots talk...
