    That's an interesting article.

I've dozens of mustangs but no Saleens. It's time to change that. I've been looking for months, possibly years, for one and now I have found a few good ones at the same time.

The saleen are just raising in value so now is the time to buy.
What, you couldn’t find a Humber Super Snipe?

It's looking like an 89 vert 5sp with the usual saleen options. Bone stock with low miles. White. I may get a hardtop though. I have a few options if one doesnt pan out. There are a couple on ebay now and a few privately listed ones as well.

A few years ago, my step dad bought an 03 vette z06 on eBay. He planned on wiring the money and having it shipped. Well that was till the bank tellers talked him out of it, long story short, I ended up driving 5 hours to Erie pa. With $17k cash, To pick the vette up on a trailer.

The seller was a really good guy and I know there wouldn’t have been a problem if he had done a transfer and a shipper but with all the stories going around of people getting screwed, we figured it was the safest option.

Fox bodies are awesome cars (and this is coming from a mainly Chevy guy) but if you plan on adding any power to it, I’d avoid the convertible.

Thanks for the heads up. I ended up bailing on that saleen. Turns out the dealer isnt quite so honest and was perfectly happy trying to sell a car that wasnt as described. I really dodged a bullet with that one. He actually told me he would eventually find a seller that he could lie to and get to buy the car.
Verts arent bad to add power too. They came stock with all the chassis stiffening already done. The hatchbacks are all twisted now as a result of years of abuse. Some are to the point of being so out of square that you cant properly tie everything together easily because nothing lines up anymore.
For a short while in the 90's I had one of the fastest street legal mustangs in the country so I am well versed on them.

I'm looking at a Typhoon now. I sold mine years ago and wouldnt mind another.
