US Post Office Money Order Safe??

I have some bike parts on Craig's List and a guy n Atlanta wants carbs sent overnight, wanted to send Western Union - I told money order and when clears I send. Question is can I cash a $400PO money order at the Post Office?? I'd rather not do at my bank if it goes NG.

Tanx I just confirmed at the PO, they will cash with a valid ID so there is no way its going to blow up in my face.
