I am about t refomat a harddrive on a work computer with windows 2000, it is asking me if i want to use aFAT32 file system or a NTFS... i think the better answer is Fat32, but i am not certain... Where are the computer guys?????

Last I knew the NTfile system only supported 2.5 gig (nt 4.0).
NTFS is easier to remotely administer, other than that, no real advantage that I've seen.

This is just my experience with Fatxx format....I had Win2k installed with Fat32 and every time it crashed (I was testing something that was crashing it) it would run scandisk and find problems, but not be able to fix them.
NTFS has almost never done that to me after a crash, and when chkdsk finds a problem it FIXES the fucking thing rather than asking you if you want to save or discard the data.
NTFS gets my vote hands down.
