Roof top A/C / heat units..

Looking to put a roof top A/C / heat unit on the trailer. Anyone have any recommendations beyond the reviews online.. If my maths correct a 13,000 BTU unit should more than suffice.

Hit up local RV service centers, you may be able to score a used unit for cheap.

Are you planning on running off a generator at all? If so figure another $225 for a soft start kit to make the AC happy on a 2k to 3k inverter.

    Mine is 13,500 BTU. I have a 6x12 trailer.
I would recommend insulating the roof at minimum while you're in there wiring it up.

Then you should be good to go.

I run a 20a fuse to the AC/heat and 15a fuse to the outlets inside
