Selling / getting rid of the stuff we thought it was a good idea to buy...

Three big things that I'd like to make go away and possibly put a bit of cash in my pocket. Not a for sale thread, I'm looking for advice about painlessly moving these things out.

The treadmill, light use after we wore an old one out, a Livestrong model in excellent condition and fully functional.

The ping pong table, Kettler indoor outdoor, aluminum, flat and great shape, stored indoors.

The inversion table, picked up when Sports Authority was going out of business, it does help when my back gets sore from running, but takes up a space most of the time.

With the youngest off to college, I'm reclaiming the basement room and all this has to go to make the man cave happen.

So how would you recommend I proceeed if I don't want weeks of useless Craigslist back and forth?

    Thanks Randy, ;>)

That's the other place I'm trying to avoid for exactly that reason.

    Post here.
Facebook has been working for me very well. They are big items so online selling won't be much help.
You already know this but seems like FB and CL will be the best after word of mouth.
You work at a college write? Post it on announcement boards that allow FS flyers?

The LetGo app has a built in messenger service. You are still going to deal with a bunch of window lickers but your stuff will get a lot of views. When you create a listing it tells you how many views it's got. You can take a picture, post it and add your description and price within about a minute. It is easier and more convenient than craigslist. The flip side is that it makes it an absolute cesspool. People are trying to get money for literally every piece of shit they have in their house because they can just take a picture of it. If you can deal with how hilariously trashy most of the listings are, you have a reasonably good shot at selling your stuff.

Let go has started to die because of what you just described. I sold a ton of stuff when it first came out.
