Monday Night Madness at Shawnee every chance I can get.

Small mountain but close and cheap.

Also to replace my Oakley jacket, and maybe get a helmet.

Hopefully land the old mctwist again.

Make the 2 hr drive to Flagstaff and try the Arizona Snowbowl. If it sucks (compared to Sugarloaf) I'm probably done with snowboarding for a while.

I still wonder how many conversations we've had over the years not realizing who the other was. I'm sure at some point you schooled at least one of the kids through their school program (Barnstead).

Tremblant for New years, Big Sky in Feb, Utah in March, Taos probably for a weekend and I'm in a ski share at Killington for the first time this year. Should be a great winter!

Done lots of Barnstead students. Very polite kids. Listened. My friend Carol gets them too.

5 days minimum. I’ve been slacking the past few years between injuries and work. Also I’m in the market for new boots, I don’t love mine. Is there such thing as 120/130 stiffness and comfort?

No. And in the bumps the 130's would be way way too stiff. Are you going to race?

I would love to, but it’s not in my plans. I’m pretty heavy and I like to ski aggressively, so it seems like a stiff boot is what I need.

Taught the gf how to ski last year... hoping she'll be comfortable to hit some of the larger mountains this year, but we'll see. Looking forward to getting out though.

I was in your same boat for many years trying to force it a 130 stiffness boot and hating life. Went down to a 110 and couldn't be happier. Still plenty responsive but sooo much more comfortable on any surface that isn't perfectly smooth glass. And when you're not in constant pain, you ski better.

Wondering what flex is the boot you are using now. Thinking that you want stiffer so maybe go up 10/15 in stiffness. Go overboard and you might hate them. Just my 2 cents. Different manufacturers rate their boot flex differently. Myself I was using 115's all last year. Then in the spring I got a Killington pass and only did moguls so I took out my old boots and they were 100's. After 15 minutes I said what the heck was I thinking. I should have used these all year. But bear in mind I do a lot of riding carpets and standing in boots. This year I already bought a set of orange lower level Apex boots. I think comfort comes first. Performance second. Re: SKI/SNOWBOARD 2018-19 PLANS?

The fact that all the manufacturers are slightly different is a problem. I'm in 130's now, but I think they are a little too wide for me. I have big feet and large calves, but, my feet are normal width for the size. My guess is that the 'boot fitter' just wanted to sell me a gimmick and the boots good enough in the store. So, not only do I have to run stiff boots but I over-tighten them to keep from moving around inside.

    Same here.

The wife and I hadn’t ridden the boards in 15 years until last winter. Took a few runs before I got that feeling back and it sure felt ggoooooddd!

Just might get back out there again this year as long as the knee is feeling good.

Boot shells can be stretched but never shrunk. I have bought a few pairs from Stan & Dan's in North Conway. I pack out the liners in a season.

Already have 5 days in, 30in plus already at elevation. Also have access to some pretty awesome terrain this year that for the most part remains untouched.

I tried on some Hawx 110 today. They fit nicely, but there were no 120-130 available in my size. Big feet are a pain.

Just brought the whole family’s skis down to Skinner’s for tuning.

Skied around 20 times last year, mostly at Sunapee. Usually go up Tuesday night after hockey league, do any shoveling and maintenance required, and ski part of Weds and Thursday.

May try NASTAR again, never done better than Silver. My starts are glacial....

I'm heavy (270+), aggressive, big calves and wide feet with little to no arch. My bootfitter managed to get me comfortable in a pair of Atomic Redster Pro 130s with footbeds. I've never fit in a race boot before and I love the stability and control they offer. I bought mine at the end of a bad ski season so they were heavily discounted.

I will admit that walking around the lodge or up and down stairs is a little awkward with them.

We had a group at one time.
I'd be interested in doing this again if anyone is interested, but we have got like 2 days
