Anyone into snowboarding? I'm looking to take a few trips up to the mountains through out the winter. Was wondering if any NESRians would be interested in hitting the slopes?

Not in the NE area, but I'm into SB. Might have to miss some of this season due to degenerative knee disorder. If any of ya'll come up the CO way to hit up the MTNS here give me a holla and have a place for ya to crash.

But - it's 15 minutes from my house. I'm planning on a few runs everyday at lunch time...

I've done it a few times - I wait for it to get tromped in, but it's still like doing the stairmaster with ski boots on. I strap my skis to my camel back so I don't have to carry them in my hands.

Just attach the snowboard to your backpack like you would for hiking. I'm sure it wouldn't interfere with motorcycle operation at all.

Jay Peak is awesome on a good day. Trouble is it's hard to know when it'll be a good day and if everybody knows it's going to be a good day then it gets crowded.

I'm in the White Mountains skiing or boarding most weekends. I'm up for a NESR ski/board day.

I used to go a lot more in high school/early college, but it got cut down to maybe 10-15 times a season lately. I was going to pick up a Wachusett pass but as stated before, this winter doesn't look promising, so I skipped it. And I know, Wachusett blows, but it's only a half hour from my house and I can always head up after work and board until 10pm during the week.

I'm always looking to go boarding though so hit me up if you wanna go. My buddy works at Bretton Woods during the winter also so I'll be heading up to NH a lot more this season.
