Its not the worst option, but I gotta get to Utah for it...we'll see how it does with the new suspension and some new rubber.

I'm wavering on whether or not I want a new van right now. When I was back in Boston I almost went to the dealer to window shop and maybe place an order, but never did it.
I'm over buying a 2021 on the lot. The 2022 transmission and 4wd improvements are worth it to wait.
I just got a lot going on right now to focus on it. I think I want a ski house and probably need to wait for the summer to pull it off, so tying up ~$75k until I sell my current van takes away a bit of buying power. Waiting another year won't kill me....and maybe the market will normalize a bit more (then again, my resale will also go down). Once I get the van back west maybe I'll list it ridiculously high and see what happens - not sure how I would cope being vanless though.

I was poking around the website building them and the extended warranty/maintenance plans are pretty freakin' rad. I never thought I would every find myself considering something like that, but it is SERIOUS piece of mind. Would need to run some quick numbers on 'em.

I just put a set of toyo open country at3s on my van before it got hit. Amazing in snow, and still bit into hard packed ice snow which is what the majority of the roads around here are for most of the winter. They are much quieter than the grabber at2s and bfg ko2s i had before. The Ko2s were horrendous in snow and on felt like cinderblocks on ball bearings on ice. The grabbers were slightly better on snow and ice but got super noisy as they wore in.

I would agree at this point it’s worth waiting on a 22. Especially with the process dealers are asking.

As far as the extended warranty, I bought it for my ‘21, and it seemed like a good deal.

Poked around at an LMTV the other day, the 4x4 variant would make a pretty sweet rig.

Still dealing with the other drivers insurance company. Infuriating

This issue crossed my mind when I saw the pics of your wrecked van. I can't imagine that the insurance companies "value" vans, that have been up fit the way yours and a lot of others have been, very well. Guessing it is quite a battle to get even a reasonable sum to put towards the replacement. Then comes the search and effort to procure and build the replacement that I'm sure they don't add into the settlement number.

    Then what?
This demonstrates both the weirdness of T1N’s and the strength of the user community. Found a video on youboob that said, “If you can hear the starter click, disconnect the battery completely, then try again.”

Did so, started right up! Now trying to figure out why this works!

Sounds like at IT thing. Turn the computer off and turn it back on.

Wish that worked on my truck. I hate electrical gremlins.

An thermodynamics engineer, an electrical engineer and a software engineer are driving down the highway... car dies...

Thermodynamics engineer says "Temp gauge read a little high, I'll go through the cooling system"
Electrical engineer says "battery voltage gauge looked a little low, I'll go through the electrical system"
Software engineer says "Guys... just close the windows and open em back up again."

This thing ain’t that smaht. Supposedly it is an issue with the state of the multiple relays required to start it. Going to track it down. Another video had you swap relays.

Yes totally, I have been ready for such a day with an appraisal and a complete list of components. That said his company still hasnt had an adjuster look at the fucking thing yet which is what is driving me up the wall now a month later.... a rental car which I still don't have will be about 5k a month if you can even get one.... The phone call back to a lawyer friend is going to happen now.
