that's at Bolton Valley. One kid did a backflip off the top part. it was nuts and the landing area is only about 25 feet around. I will throw up some other pics I took there last year too when I get back from Wallyworld...

Will were you up there yesterday? My friends and I go jumping there ALOT.
See the nice waterfall in the first pic? (not the high one, but the one leading to the kiddie pool Nikon hangs out in)...last week I was at the falls the day after a HUGE rain storm...water was up ~5inches...current getting out of the pool you jump into was strong, let alone where you get out was under more water. Anyway...I went for a wild water slide ride into the kiddie pool...damn lucky I didn't hit my head. (but now i have a cool story).

    More like 3 hours @ 75mph up 93 to 89.

I rode my bicycle past that swimming hole a week or so ago on vacation... I almost couldn't resist jumping in.

Cycling up the road to the ski area is a lot more work on a hot day then sitting in the nice cool mountain water..

I always like the swimming hole in the New Haven river better.

(just up the hill a bit on Lincoln road from 116) theres a ledge 25 feet high± to jump off

there's usualy parking reasonably close, I never really liked Huntington Gorge, I understand they ticket you for roadside parking

There's one in Wilton, near 31 and 101 junction, and a quarry somewhere in Merrimack called Wildcat Falls or something like that. My brother always liked to go there, but I have no idea where it is

I just got back from it. I drove over there during my lunch brake since I live/work so close. I parked my bike at the end of west Chamberland which is almost right under the the rt.3 overpass. There was a trail from there that takes you right down the the river. Next to a new houses being built.

That part isnt the actual Wildcat falls. A little hike upriver is where it was at and I didnt walk up there. All the houses along the river made it really hard to find a good spot to park and walk down to the actual falls. Not that I could see at least. There could be better entrances on the other side of the river

Does anyone else know of a good entrance to get the actual falls? or do you remember parking under the highway too and doing a quick hike up?

I grew up in Merrimack. There are two places to get to WildCat the one I used is off of Currier Road.Rt 3 to Mobile Station in center of town. Go up Baboosic Lake Rd. Go past the Police Station over the overpass take the 1st left on to Currier Rd. (Indian Rock Condos is on the right.) Follow Currier all the way down you will see a dirt access road pull in there ( Now a Gate is there so you can't drive down) and walk the trail down take the right trail at the fork to the river then follow the trail along the river to WildCat Falls.about 3/4 of a mile total. The other way is off of Turkey Hill where the town garage and the Ball fields are. Word of advice alot of Kids go there so Lock up your Car and hide your shit in the trunk. My parents live there to so no smoke shows when leaving.
