2011 Pit Bike Race CHAMPION!
for those who pre-ordered? why? truck aint gonna be here for another 2-3 years. yes i get $100 is nothing now and it is refundable but why not wait for the thing to actually launch, work out all the issues it will have, and you bet it will have plenty, allow it to get better and then buy?
do you believe price will go up or features will become more expensive (tesla is know to do that)?
Agreed. I read through the agreement for pre-ordering and realized that it seems as though the price you are signing up for isn't necessarily guaranteed. Also I have a co-worker that was on the pre-order list for the model 3 and the price went up on him. So I wasn't sure there was any benefit to pre-ordering so I did not. Please correct me if I missed something.
I thought pre ordering saved you from some price increases. Like self drive.
I'm sure you are aware but just an FYI, 13.3" of the F-150 width are related to the mirrors: F-150 = 83.5" Tesla Cyber = 79.8", so real world more like 4" narrower

Ford’s width seemed like a major outlier but I think that might have to do with the inclusion of mirrors. The same F-150 spec sheet says the truck is 83.5 inches wide with its mirrors folded, which is more consistent with the others.
Where can I get this green flavored koolade?!?
Also:
And think of the deposit more like a Kickstarter / Disney FastPass, just saves you a place in line and gives Tesla some additional working capital.
Several friends have Teslas: it became the VAR owner car for a while.
One lives in NNJ and to drive to Portsmouth NH (310 miles one way) and he has to recharge in CT, which takes about 45 minutes.
“Range Anxiety” is an EV thing. Still don’t see how they get around the drop in battery output and néed for cabin heating in cold weather. The technology should improve rapidly but we are still in the early adopter stage.
F150 vs DeLoreanTruck tow-off brouhaha.https://jalopnik.com/heres-how-tesla...s-f-1840064923
This reminds me of what they say about Democracy in South America: “One man, one vote, one time.”
No dog in the fight. Actual towing tests using a Tesla SUV.
