You guys have any good recommendations for all season tires? Also what's a good place to go? Town Fair Tire?

I get my new tires off craigslist slightly used. I paid $125 for bridgestones with 3,000 easy miles on them.

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

I had Falken Ziex 512s for my Integra and TSX. They were great. High rating for treadwear and it also has rim protection. I think these are called Falken Ziex 912s now, but I would recommend them. I would also go with the Toyo Proxes 4. Those are the only ones I have had experience with. I read a bunch of reviews and I had narrowed it down to these two a year or so ago.

I've had really good luck with Town Fair. I've bought 4 sets of tires from them and have always had good experiences.

The snows i have now are phenomenal

Yea the tires I have SUCK hardcore in the snow. They are still the oem tires that came with the car (3 years old with 51,000 miles on them). I'm way overdue!!!!!

I'm running Yokohama Avid H4S. They're a performance all-season and have grip galore. Good value for the money and they've been awesome in the snow.

I've had really good luck with Continental contact extremes (third set, second car). Great wear from the 400AA rating, relatively cheap (especially considering the wear), all season is decent in the snow. Look at Tirerack.com, or discounttire.com - thay have shops around the country that will accept the shipment and do the mounting.

I got General Exclaim UHP's from Tire Rack for pretty friggin cheap. They're ultra high performance tires but they've performed surprisingly well in the snow & slush. I drove today & last Friday in the ultra shit conditions during the worst of it (2-3pm) & they held their own really well.

At 77 bucks a piece in 17", they were one of the least expensive but BEST RATED uhp tire on Tire Rack. Very happy w/ my purchase but I dunno if they're exactly what you're looking for.

Pretty sure these are the same tires on my Accord. +1, not very expensive and they work great in the snow. The Honda is my commuter car w/ nearly 40mi one-way & they worked well in the last couple of storms. Tires have ~20k on them right now.

I don't like Town Fair Tire. I prefer to use my auto mechanic who I have more history with and I trust. Professional Automotive in Marlboro...free plug.

Need new tires for the cage

I've been a fan of Toyo tires.

I had Town Fair put on my summer tires for my truck. They'll price match internet/mail order prices (plus shipping) so print up an ad and take it in.

My one suggestion... pick up a second set of rims and get some snow tires... it's sooooo worth it.
