I used to do inventory for Lexus. just build the spec you want online, and get a copy of that to your local dealer.
they can search internal databases to find the closest one with the options and equipment.

if they cant find it exactly, are you slightly flexible in a possible option or color? then there might be something sitting on a lot or incoming that can be swapped in.

turns out what I was looking for doesn't exist - most likely the reason I couldn't find it!

wife was looking for the Camry XSE V6 with AWD. I don't believe it comes in that configuration.

Re: Anyone here work at a Toyota dealer?

Yeah iirc the awd is only with the 4 banger.
Your just shit out of luck with that one.

Might a suggest a CPO Lexus GS350? A little smaller in the interior, but much more engaging to drive.

Or if your looking new and worried about euro reliability Id look at the genesis sedan I think they call the newest one the g80. But the 70 also comes in awd with a 3.8 six

Thanks - looking across the spectrum. She drives a Lexus IS250 now but I am unimpressed with the tech I have seen in newer models. She's pretty short so she doesn't want a bigger sedan - I suspect she'd like the RC but I'm frightened to take her to a dealer lest she see an LC. Not dropping $100K on a car! Right now we're looking at the MB GLB and Audi Q3 because I like the option of a small SUV.

save your money, the q3 is nothing to brag home about and its way to fucking small to do anything. the glb isnt terrible but im not a fan of the looks and the interior seems meh, (this also goes back to my disadan of the og benz GLA (they should not be making a cheap car, and its a bigger stretch for them to go down market then another brand to reach upmarket) also since you guys already have a lexus, why not an nx?

but i just went thought this with the wife if if you were looking at smallish suvs, and were knocking at the door a luxury brand, i would go drive a cx-5 grand touring signature with the 2.5 turbo. Comparing that to my old lexus NX that we had, the quality is there.

Agreed on the Q3. We tested one last weekend and they are too small to be useful; it's no bigger than my Crosstrek. Q5 is a small SUV, but Q3 is not really any bigger than a hatchback/small crossover.

My girlfriends got a Lexus IS 350 that has a 3.5 V6 and is AWD. I'm pretty sure is just a fancy Camry.

My pops has a rc 350 f sport. Drove it a few times and I certainly dig it. I kinda like my m235 a little more but I think it's because I'm just used to it.

Wait for the Mazda 6 to come out with AWD within the next 6 months - the turbo model is engaging enough and it drives better than its price would make you believe. I love the Carbon edition - excellent price point and beautiful with the color combo of red leather and polymetal grey exterior. But, it is FWD only right now. You get heated/cooled seats and heated steering standard...

Tested the CX-5 today and wasn't very impressed given the rave reviews. It was just 'meh'. The GLB is next.

tired to lease one a couple times over the last few months. dealers are here were fucking idiots. and tried to get be on a lease or a rav4 prime with CLOTH FUCKING seats, for over 620 a month. told the guy to eat a dick and for that price i'll go buy a luxury car.

they seemed to have no concept that the 7500 EV tax rebate goes towards the car to reduce the selling price, not back to me in my taxes.

the carbon mazdas are pretty sweet looking. sales guys were talking about the old CX-7s replacement coming next year cx-70,
