    Toyota is hiring

I haven't posted one of these in a while but Toyota is hiring. This is not a job with a Toyota dealer but a job with Toyota. I'm not in the loop but I think we are hiring 6 people one is going to start soon so there are are 5 openings left. We are in Mansfield, MA. This is a position for 2nd shift. The normal hours are 4:30pm to 1am, with overtime which is almost daily that starts at 2:30pm. You will be on the 2nd shift for some time. I've been there 11 years and hopefully after this round I get the word I can make the move to first shift hours. So if you don't like me that's fine you probably wont have to work directly with me for long. It's a pretty easy job but you have to show up on a regular basis. They just let go of a guy because of poor attendance. I believe pay starts around 22-23 an hour and after 3 years you're at full pay. Some of the benefits include health insurance, matching 401k (although your plan will be different then mine so I don't know the details of it.), least car which is a pretty good benefit. It's not the typical crappy least you would get through a dealer. Less money, more miles, insurance included.

This is the posted description on the Toyota webpage.

    Re: Toyota is hiring

Bump. We are at it again. Looking for at least one maybe two from what they told us. A few things have changed. Frequent overtime including Saturdays but you'll typically be out by noon time. Been doing 54 hours weeks recently. You will not be working with me. I'm on the first shift now. I can give more details so interested people just ask away. It is a good job with good pay but like everything it does have its issues.
