Literally they all Have problems. BMW, Audi, Merc, VW, Mini...
Mini coopers are completely useless in the rain. hows that for ingenuity?
Call me crazy, but I think the Mini's rain handling issues are the least of their problems, ask me how I know (just one of many issues):

Jeep stoppies look fun. The guy said it felt like the car was foating and the wheels came back down really smoothly. NICE Jeep claimed the brake distribution was off due a a hit to the braking circuit (pinched lines?) but they tested another and it did the same thing to a lesser degree.

I kinda didn't think it was that big a deal. Looks fun! I was wondering if you can get the weight over the front tires like that, will it outbrake the original spec sheet? But it just seems like they need to adjust the proportioning valve.

current price of gasoline, you would start to save after 175,000 miles, might be worthwhile for a fleet vehicle that gets 500k in 4 years

I got the 6.2 and 8 speed. The motor is magic. 20+ mpg regularly. The rest of the truck is alright. I don't know how a sunroof would effect it, mine has one.

I'd love one if they weren't approaching 40 grand. I'm not even sure I can afford a v6 right now.

That & they don't get 30% better fuel economy, which is roughly the difference in price between 87 and Diesel.

I miss having a diesel. Towing is just so effortless. Like Paul said it's just set it and forget it. Relax for the ride.

Unless you're in Daytona and the hpop decides to shit the bed and throw oil everywhere...

There's a 2016 Colorado Z71 with the 2.8 TD just 2.5 miles away from me... Red Metallic.

I kinda wanna go rub my nuts on it. Think they'll knock 10 grand off sticker and give me the 72mo 0% APR special? (42k)

Don't know 'til you ask? Maybe there are some incentives and if you time it right the dealer might need to sell a vehicle bad enough to get close to if not what you ask for.

Re: For all you truck shopping...

$10k discount off of MSRP is definitely well within the realm of reality. I keep saying; MSRP on pickups is meaningless! I don't even understand why they set them that high. Maybe someone, somewhere pays it. Definitely drop an email and ask for a quote. Almost zero effort.

Unless you're hellbent on the diesel, wander over to the 1500 side of the website and ask for a whatif on something that jumps out at you from that pile while you're at it. I shopped about this time last year and wound up with way more than $10k off sticker. There were FIVE separate discounts applied to my truck. Guy ran out of space on the rebate paperwork.
