Happen to know anyone around here who will service them? Only want the movement serviced and then pressure tested but don't know any reputable shops around here who will do it and then perform the 1000m pressure test. Don't want to send it out to Ball if I don't have to.

Not really..l I have one that needs service too, and I think it’s going to have to go to NYC.

Check with Dave at The Watchmaker in Stoneham. He used to sell Ball (maybe still does - haven't been to his store in over a year) and if there is anyone who can repair in-house he'd be the person. Aldo try Royal Jewelers in Andover. I've bought watches from each shop and they're both top notch.

The watchmaker in Stoneham as someone else said. If you're in southern MA or RI, then Richard at Fine Time in Warwick RI is fantastic. I've had several watches serviced by him and he does a top notch job and is a great guy.

Yeah, you REALLY don't want to send it to Ball, especially in Switzerland. The ceramic bezel insert of my Skindiver 1 fell out and I sent it back to them. It took 8 months and my AD pestering them weekly for it to get re-glued into place. I thought that was pretty unacceptable.

Hmm my brother lives in Warwick maybe I'll check that guy out. I only want the movement serviced so hoping it won't be too bad.

Great company history. Also great lume on their watches.

As stated above Dave at The Watchmaker in Stoneham does great work. He is/was a Ball AD.

Royal Jewelers in Andover is another reputable shop.

And Iím not sure if they still do repairs but Springers in Portsmouth (they have another location also but it escapes me at this time)

New CW. In person it’s a great piece. My picture sucks. Lol

It uses a sapphire crystal as the dial face. Very hard to manufacture. I got it on the metal bracelet but prefer the leather/rubber dive strap.

Dave at The Watchmaker in Stoneham. Used to sell these and for a time was the US service center. They are equipped to work on these and although working around the CV19 limitations they are still open. Tell him Nick sent you and he'll have something snarky to say. He's a sarcastic MF but very funny.

So.... I hate to say it but the Speedmaster didn't really do it for me. Felt too fragile/delicate for daily wear, I was always afraid I was going to bang it into something, scratch it, etc so most of the past two or so months i owned it, it remained in the watch box. Sold it and replaced it with this. Just got it today and already know I made the right choice.

    That’s a solid watch. I’d wear that.

TAG is killing it with the new Aquaracer. They used to be just meh, but these new ones are just fantastic, especially for the price. Really digging that bezel and they did a great job with the cyclops. It will make a better daily watch than the Speedy for sure.

The ceramic bezel is absolutely amazing in person, I've had other watches with ceramic and this one blows them all away, it's just beyond words. The attention to detail on every aspect of this thing is fantastic.

A friend of mine owns this company. Simple dive watches with a colorful flair. I’ve been wearing them on a rotating basis for the last couple months. Great time pieces at a great price point.
