What are you guys favorite choices for under $500 or close to it?
Edit: Thanks to JohnnyV, looking up tritium options now.
Traser P68 Pathfinder and Nite Icon 216 look pretty good

Cant go wrong with an automatic Seiko SKX007 Diver.
If you like automatic watches, any Seiko 5 that tickles your pickle.
EDIT: Uh... yeah. What Johnny just said.
It's over $200 (a touch over 300 actually) but I love my Seiko Presage cocktail time
This is nice lookin and well within budget if you want quartz. You might actually WANT quartz or solar if you'll rarely ever wear it and don't wanna have to set the time every time you put it on. https://smile.amazon.com/Seiko-Chron...039240&sr=8-49
... And don't forget, if you're gonna buy through amazon, shop through smile.amazon.com and set your charity to the Karen Hornbecker Memorial Foundation.

I've had countless Seiko's and while I like them, honestly I've found the Steinhart to be a much nicer piece and you can find them all day used and in like-new condition for under $500. I just picked up another Ocean One ceramic a few days ago as a daily beater diver in like-new condition with all box/paperwork along with a Strapcode Jubilee bracelet for $420

I have inherited a silver Elgin pocket watch that was my great grandfather's wedding gift from 1889 (or 1898, I can't remember). No one in my family seems to want it - anyone know if a resource I can use to see what it's value is? It still keeps time.
Call Dave at "The Watchmaker" in Stoneham, MA. He has a few in the case and is a solid resource if you can get past his quirky brand of sarcasm.
Thanks.
