Paul, if you decide to sell the other person so you can keep the Sprinter, let me know.

Iglu, sounds to me like having the room to store it is the big decision point. Cracks me up all the nay sayer comments about mpg etc. Its free man!

This is the biggest problem with any trailer / RV / camper. People (includes me) buy it, set it up exactly how they want it, and then want something bigger. Nothing in the camping world is ever comfortable/big/just right enough.

I've got 3 acres. Storage isn't an issue. Will just make a new driveway parking area for it, along with a panel or two on the roof to keep the batteries topped up.

I don't EVER see size (as in too small) becoming an issue with this thing. 30' long. Jeeeeezus.

30' is not too small. Until you step into a 36 footer...
RV'ing is like boating, it's tought to stop the vessel from shrinking...

This is still on the docket. Going to be heading down to RI to see it in person with a fresh outlook on "do we actually want this?" in the next month or so.

The water damage was reported as "devastating" inside by one family member. Then my wife went down, popped her head inside and couldn't understand how that description came to be. So we'll see.

A friend just had a new Minnie Winnie arrive. He's trading in a camper trailer for it. He got it for sleeping in at track days. The mini isn't as mini as I thought they were, and no where does the price suggest mini.

I used a 1995 Damon Challenger for two(?) seasons of racing and trackdays, before switching to the Ford toy hauler(which has also since gone away). Same chassis(Chevy P30), same engine(454 TBI). I got about 10mpg pulling the trailer you now own, and probably loaded up heavier than you'll pull it(tire machine, compressor, tires, bike).

I loved it. Sure, it was old, and stuff sometimes broke, but it was all very simple stuff to fix. Mine was a 27' also, which was really easy to maneuver around - turned way tighter circles than my Ford RV or Ford pickup do.

I paid $4200 for mine, used it for two years, and sold it for $5000 to the first people that looked at it. I say go for it.
