    Winter Mountaineering anyone?

Do any of you guys/girls out there play in the outback during the winter? I mostly do all my climbing in the Adirondacks but if we could get some people together for some White Mtns. action I would be interested! We already have 10" of snow in the High Peak region of the Adirondacks. Let's plan a late winter trip!

Not into the Mt. climbing thing, although I've never given it an effort. This winter, the family's taking up snowshoeing though. We just bought summa them there light weight aluminum modular jobbies so you can change 'em according to traction needs. If I don't pick up a winter hobbie, I'm gonna fuckin' snap this winter and go on a rampage, or I'm gonna just pop. I stopped taking off winter fat about three years ago and I can't afford to put any more on!

hey.....u should consider some "alpine" skiing....its a great way to have fun ..and get some exercise too..if you look around you can get pretty decent skis, for a reasonable price.....some resorts let you use the beginner slopes for a reduced price.....i started out skiing when my kids were small, and basically went to the ski lessons as a chaparone and learned along with the kids..(school ski program)...anyway its fun, and you dont have to go broke to do it....my own personal rule is to NOT go on weekends...too many people .

Skiing's out too, unfortunitely. It's something I'd really like to get into, but my knees and back won't lemme do shit like that. And skiing is something I think I could REALLY get into too...
