Thumbs up WTB: Meriden Triumph Project

    Greetings Triumph Nuts...

Well I'm on the hunt again...

    Looking for a Triumph Motorcycle project, Pre -1970 650, either a TR6 or a T-120 Bonnie, not fussy or a Pre-1973 T100, T100R 500.

So, please lemme know what you have or know of...

I check craigslist regularly so I am hoping to hear about those "Friend of a Friend has a Triumph in a barn" deals…

I live in Maine and would travel in the North East quarter of the US. Maybe a little further...

I am an old Triumph Nut, well, both Old and a Nut but that is another story... It has been some time since I restored a Meriden Triumph having done a couple of dozen over the years and I frankly miss not having one around, seems I let them all slip away. This one will be a keeper so I am going to be a bit picky about which one makes the grade but I will look at all of the ones you find and notify me about.

    Thanks very much,
    Rob

I will have to find a pick, I think it was a 68 with the single seat instead of banana, and when I saw it, I thought, damn I have to build one. tell me how you make out. If you were in NH I have a buddy with a big garage in washingtonville. He restores older rigs, working on a military willies jeep for himself now. He also is the resident land rover guru.

    (New Page 1)

have never been into cruiser style bikes, but this would be something similar to what I am thinking of, very minimalistic, to cruise around town.

    Hey Brit-Trip,
I was never much into choppers either but that one looks neat...

So does the Land Rover Guru have some prospects..? I did not see any reference on his site.

LOL... That is a start I guess in a Norton...

    Thanks,
    Rob

I got stuff but the days of cheap finds are pretty much over and you'll have to pay for any pre 1970 stuff.
Whats your budget and your looking at a couple of grand for something all there to restore
the T-100's tend to be cheaper but not by a lot
