Selling my dirty toy, the local enviro-nazis have basically ruined local dirty bike riding.
This is a 1999 Yamaha WR400 that is in remarkably good condition for its age. The front forks have been worked by GMD Boston, the rear shocks is C Cycles (I think?), and the entire suspension setup is awesome for a 200+ pound rider. Recent Michelin off-road knobbies. The motor was refreshed just before I bought it in 2009 (I'm not entirely certain what "refreshed" included, but I know it runs like a top), and I have ridden it approximately 10 hours since then and changed the oil twice. Starts second kick, even after sitting all winter. Tag bars, grippy Moose seat. TONS OF EXTRAS - plastics, odds and ends, sprockets, etc. I dont know of any work this bike needs, aside from a new rear view mirror.
Found a DL1000 I'd like to buy, so trying to sell both my bikes.
I paid $2000 for this here on NESR three years ago. $1700 or best offer, some trades considered. Comes with VT Title, should be easy to register in other states with the title, but obviously check with your local DMV for clarity.
