Selling my race bike, I'm not going to be using it this year.
06 KTM 560SMR
Crank welded
Hot Cams Stage 1 Cam
KTM Hard Parts radial front master cylinder (CNC'd, cost around $600)
Brembo cast radial mount caliper
STM Evoluzione slipper clutch
FMF Ti exhaust
Stock 17" wheels with Michelin rains (some life left)
Marchesini 17" wheels with Brembo rotor front, Bridgestone SM slicks used one race
TriStar triple clamps (8mm offset)
GMD reworked suspension
Axljak footpegs (shorter, with sliders)
K&N air filter
Cycra Pro-Bend Handguards
Includes spare plastics, some other random spares
Needs head rebuild (valves, seats, valve guides, springs) and probably could use a piston. Bike ran 59.7 hp on Rob's Dyno with a full season on the piston; fresh motor should be good for 60+, a little head work and I'm guessing 65+ is attainable. This thing is set up about as well as it can be. Several people on this board can vouch for how fast this thing is.
$5200
$3800 without the Marchesinis
EDIT: Just to clarify, the bike runs. Other than a little smoke, it actually runs great. Fires easily. The only reason(s) I say it needs valves, springs, etc. is that they have not been replaced in the 4 years I have raced the bike, and the aforementioned smoke. This bike has been, apparently, an anomoly as KTMs go. The only motor problem I have had was losing a crank bearing after 2.5 seasons of racing and practicing. Got very lucky, internal damage was very minimal. Motor in this particular bike has actually been more reliable than most of the Japanese 450s I have raced against.
