Toying with the idea of selling my R1200S and only riding on the track next year. It is the greatest bike I've ever ridden but I can't risk losing it on the track. I may end up keeping the bike and putting it in storage (sacrilege I know) only taking it out for special occasions if I don't get what I want.
It just had its 24k service done on it.
Adjusted valves
New gaskets
New Plugs
Final Drive Oil Change
I have the Alternator Belt waiting to go on...
Whats it got?!
Ohlins front and rear suspension
Wide Rear Tire
Akrapovic Full Exhaust (currently installed)
K&N Filter
Stock Exhaust (uninstalled)
Dyno'd & Mapped by MAX BMW (around 8+ hp over what it had stock according to Max) into Stock ECU
HeliBar Risers
R1200S Tank Bag
DynoJet ECU (uninstalled recommended by Max)
BMW Cylinder guards
Tekarbon Carbon Hugger
Tekarbon Carbon Center Tank Cover
Tekarbon Carbon Lower Side Tank Covers (sides of seat)
Tekarbon Carbon License Plate Holder
I have all the stock panels to go with it as well as passenger pegs.
Abba Stand for R1200S
It has just under 24k miles on the clock I'll have the exact digits later.
Only real blemish is the previous owner had something hit the right front side panel I believe in his garage. Not 100% but it seems pretty legit since it is one small spot where paint is missing and has chipped off the panel.
Other than that the peg feelers being a little sharpened before I had the suspension set up and the right guard being a little scrapped from touching down (NOT CRASHED just touched the pavement as I was dragging knee around the last turn running Downtown) at New York Safety Track; it is in perfect shape!
I think all this for $9500 is a fair price.
Let me know what you think!
