'09 CRF450 and '06 CR250

Just bought a car off a guy this morning who's cleaning house and selling all his toys. Has these bikes in his garage, said he wants $1k each, ice tires included. Don't know anything about them other than the 450 has trans issues. Reply or message me if interested. I have a couple pics I'll try to post later.

CR250 is an '06, the 450 is an '09. Just spoke with the seller, has someone coming to look at the 250 today but the 450 is still up for grabs. PM me for his # if interested.

I spoke to him. The 250 is a four stroke, and it was in pieces, and likely spoken for by the prior owner. They were going to try to put it back together and if it ran, PO was probably going to buy it back.

The 450, he said was jumping out of fifth gear. He said it's a common problem with that year, and will need a shift fork, drum, and gears 3, 4, and 5, plus associated seals, gaskets, etc...HIS assessment, not mine (I didn't even see the bike). The parts aren't cheap. Well over $500, probably. I'm going to pass. Might be an ok deal for someone else, not really sure. That IS supposedly a desirable year for the cr450. First year of FI. We didn't discuss the tires.
