Since I finally upgraded my network storage to a completely wireless solution, I am no longer in need of my older MacBook Pro.
It's a MacBookPro4,1, early 2008 model, purchased in April of 2008. Here are the specs:
- 45 nm Intel "Penryn" 2.4 GHz "Core 2 Duo" processor (T8300)
Two independent processor "cores"
3 MB shared "on chip" level 2 cache
800 MHz frontside bus- 4.0 GB of 667 MHz PC2-5300 DDR2 SDRAM (Kingston, purchased in July 2008)
- 500 GB, 7200RPM Seagate Momentus HD with "Sudden Motion Sensor" technology (Purchased in Nov 2011)
- 8X dual-layer DVD±RW/CD-RW SuperDrive
- NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics processor with 256 MB of GDDR3 SDRAM and dual-link DVI functionality
- Antiglare LED-backlit 15.4" widescreen 1440x900 active-matrix display
I will not have photos until after the 7/21-22 LRRS weekend, since I am on the road until Thursday evening.
This is a well cared-for and rock-solid machine. This is the older type with the silver, backlit keys and the trackpad has an independent click button below it.
I wiped the HD clean and it has a fresh installation of Mac OS X Lion 10.7.1, all set up like it would be from the factory. No settings are yet input.
I am also including a copy of Microsoft Office for Mac 2008. Since I have 2011 on my current Mac, I no longer require 2008. It will open all Word and Excel documents, except the newer docx and xlsx formats. This is the version with Entourage Mail and not Outlook Mail.
If interested, I can bring it up to NHMS this weekend for LRRS round 4.
