Spotted on the Hawk Forum: Hawk GT in Boston

Guy is asking $1,300 with a clean title.

    Hey guys,

So if any of you recall I've had some posts in the forums about fixing or selling, and now that I'm out of school and working I just don't have the time and more importantly the space to work on the bike. It's been great, but for now I need the money more than the bike. I considered trying to go Craigslist or something (ya'll kept saying I'd do better there), but you guys have all been great to me in my time as a Hawk owner so I would really like to see it return to the group.

Enough of the speech - ugly truth first: the bike isn't running for the first time ever. I was dumb and didn't store it for winter so I'm almost positive it's just a gummed up carb. Otherwise the bike has never failed to start once nor has it ever died. It's been laughably reliable.

So off the top of my head - it has fairly new tires (less than 1500 miles) - continentals I believe; full supertrapp exhaust, a Penske 8981 set at 175-185lbs rider, one of ginos chainrollers. Since buying it 3 years ago i think, I've done basic maintenance. New oil, fresh plugs, tappet adjustments, fuel lines, etc. The tank has a dent, but is otherwise rust free. The bike has her dings and scratches as can be viewed in the link i attached (if it didnt work its: https://www.flickr.com/photos/56012059@N08/ )

I would like to get $1500 for the bike, but I'm reasonable with fair offers. I have a clean title in hand, the bike is currently registered and insured.

So please buy my bike. Help me be a real boy and move out!

Any questions or pictures/videos you want please message me or email me: TWalsh0391@comcast.net
I encourage you to look through any of the old threads I've posted to get a better idea for the bikes condition!

    Thanks guys!

PS - i REALLLLLLLLLY don't want to part out

Again. Not mine. Just figured I'd pass it on.
