1988 FZR250

    1988 FZR250

    Price: $5300
    Location: Wakefield, MA

This is a 1988 FZR250 inline 4. Red lines @ 17,000 RPM and produces 45 horsepower. Sounds like an F1 car.

Has about 15,700 miles. I still ride it so it might go up in mileage slowly. Bike has some corrosion and paint isn't perfect, but its very presentable and a great rider.

    Recent work includes:

    Carb Clean
    Fuel Pump
    Oil
    Battery

I bought this bike from Iconic Motorbikes. Pictures and writeup in the link

Very cool little bike. I had just moved from MX to street bikes around this time and remember lusting after the VTR250 and an Interceptor 500 (ended ip with a V45 Magna...)

The I4 250’s are way cooler! GLWS!

Cool bike. Were these things ever sold in the states or was this imported? I thought the smallest fours you could get back then were 400s.

This was never sold here, I believe this is a Japanese import.

The link to the auction explains all the little details about this bike. Yes it was imported and no they were never sold in the US.
