ok, i've decided i want some sort of 4-stroke twin for nextseason therefrore i will be yet again attempting to sell my 1989 honda NSR250 MC18.
anyways....
bike has some HRC goodies, and some issues. i'll try and list all of both.
the good.
-magnisum magtek rims from SP model
-front and rear suspension from SP model....forks have gold valves in them.
-HRC dry clutch conversion....plates in good shape
-self supporting fiberglass seat and tail unit.
-steel braided lines and ebc race pads up front.
-brand new brigstone BT090 Pros....0 heat cycles...not even scrubbed in.
- HRC race pipes...slighly dented.
-total loss ignition set up.
-pod filters.
-oil injection system removed...premix only
-kick start is long gone....bump start only.
-HRC cyclinder heads for leaded fuel
-HRC radiator
-weighs about 250 lbs wet
the bad
needs new clutch lever and left rear set bracket to be ridable.
fairings are looking alittle beat at the moment.
clip ons kinda bentish.... spares need some engineering to fit right
jetting still needs sorting
suspension might be due for a rebuild
generally needs some good old fashioned TLC
needs new front fender
extras
-rear stand
-premix bottle and 5 gallon gas jug.
-enough fluids to last a season.
-enough needles and jets to baffle you.
-spare pistons, rings, bearings and base gaskets
-cut down stock airbox
-crap load of spare plugs
-tons of track and jetting notes from former owners... need to know gearing for daytona?
-impossible to find NSR parts manual printed off the internet before the invention of the color printer....in oddly translated english and japanese
all of this can be yours for $ 2,500.
