My 1990 Mustang for your Sportbike

I put this up on Craigslist but thought I would post it here too.. looking to see if there is any interest...

    http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/mcy/1995470017.html

I have a 1990 Ford Mustang that I am looking to do an even trade for a late model sportbike. At least a 600cc, prefer a 1000cc but will consider smaller bikes if they are in good enough condition. Here is a description of my car:

1990 LX red hatch - 82k original miles
AOD with 3:55 gears with Moser axles (28 spline)
    GT40P heads
    FMS ceramic headers
    Cobra intake
Vortech SC trim blower with power pipe
    FMU 8:1
    24# injectors
Electric Fan off a Lincoln Mark VIII
    Full MSD ignition with BTM
    Pro-M 80mm MAF
    Ford Crown Vic front calipers
Rear disk brake conversion off a 1993 Cobra
    FMS aluminum driveshaft
    Autometer- fuel, oil, boost guages
    AEM wideband guage
    Corbeau front seats
    Cervini 2 1/2" cowl hood
    17" ROH rims 245 front/ 255 rear
Full 2001 Mustang Bullitt tockico shocks/struts/spring coversion
    Cobra rear upper control arms
    Flowmaster mufflers
    2 1/2" pipes
High-flow H-pipe with cats (passed emissions back when it needed to)
    Tint by Ziebart
Upgraded stereo/speakers and CD changer in back

Car runs, drives, idles MINT- real head turner. I have treated it like a baby since I bought it in 1996. I am not desparate to get rid of it so I dont want any junk bike. If you have something as equally as nice but in a bike. Send me an PM

I know Mike and I know this car. It is truly immaculate and what he says it is.

    WTF, dont do it Mike.

It better be a pretty damn nice bike for that trade to happen.

This car looks mint in person.

I love your car. I had a 90 LX 5.0 hatch 5 speed black on gray back in the day. Wish I never sold it....

    You want my sv1ks?
Love that body style. Only thing that would make it better is if it had a trunk instead of a hatch. But ill take it

Nice 5.0, You dont see them like that anymore. I have a 93 w/ a vortech, 553hp and have also thought about getting rid of it.

$8000... The car is worth about 4k in it's non-modified condition but has a little over 15k in mods so I would accept 8k for it as a reasonable cash sale

A long time ago before the blower- it put down 219 HP at the rear wheels with stock timing (10* BTDC). I never got around to checking after the blower but I would guess a safe assumption is 300 RWHP with about 380 HP at the crank.

Stock AODs run about 170-180 RWHP for 87-93.

Re: My 1990 Mustang for your Sportbike

Nice mods ...Ever run the 1/4 with it. I had a 87GT 88LX and a 93LX. Loved the 93 especially with the Green body and chrome pony rims....4K stock for a 90? Nice and clean but high on the $....My 93 5 yrs ago sold for 4700 and was very clean..and a stick. I had a ZEX 75HP NOS on my 87GT Totally stock ran a 14.6 and a 13.7 on Nos....(Street tires) I wanted a ZEX kit for my V8 SHO but getting to the plugs was a Mess...Sold all mustangs and bought a 74 Z28 , built a nice 355 and ran 13.1 (street tires)..But i miss the stangs, i had an IROC(87) back in high school (1990) not many people had stangs well maybe 1 or 2 86's but mainly GTA's and Formula's..,I drove the Hampton strip many times .oh and the lowell Ames parking lot... Am i bringing back any memories??
